New American cuisine and cocktails are coming to Rittenhouse Square

Philadelphia, PA – For the latest in American cuisine, check out the new Wilder Restaurant & Barsituated in Rittenhouse neighborhood of Philadelphia (2009 Sansom Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103). A 150-seat restaurant on three floors, a bar and a private event space with modern comfort and high-end equipment.


Wilder Restaurant & Bar opens in Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia

The location of Rittenhouse offers casual bar drinks in a private event space and beautiful indoor and outdoor terraces. A great place for an evening with friends, The Wilder will provide guests with a relaxed and welcoming environment for a memorable dinner or event.

Unlike many new restaurants in town, Wilder is different from the norm. The restaurant’s name is a nod to the abundance of fresh ingredients in its dishes. The third floor is reserved for private events and is dedicated to catering. The restaurant is currently open Monday to Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 5 p.m. brunch and lunch service beginning later this spring.

The menu will feature seasonal vegetables, plates of fresh handmade pasta and a selection of savory main courses. Since the opening of the first floor pizza kitchen and crudo & raw bar, Truitt and his team will be preparing hot wood-fired pizzas and a daily list of fresh raw fish and oyster preparations, sliced ​​to order.








The bar will offer wine and beer (on draft, by the bottle and by the glass), as well as a creative set of cocktails and ABV-free drinks will be served. Click here for full menus.







The space is in a quirky carriage house and townhouse combined into one sprawling Restaurant of 4500 square feet. Which was an old school for the Philadelphia Academy of Social Dancing.

The dining room is unrestrained, one of the most appealing aspects of the dining experience. The first floor is a unique experience and has a large bar with comfortable seating. The second floor is a space where you can sit and enjoy the atmosphere of a traditional restaurant. The third floor will be dedicated to the bar and will host a live DJ. The third floor can also be rented for private parties.







The name Wilder reflects the abundance of fresh ingredients listed on the menu. Additionally, the restaurant’s name represents the design and vision of the space as a celebration of local culture and art.
